Eligibility #

To become a Monk, the player must take the Monk trait. This trait costs two slots, and confers level 0 (Initiate) abilities on the player. Additional levels can not be purchased with traits.

Ability Progression #

  • 0: Initiate - You have mastery of unarmed attacks; attacks are attempted with advantage. Unarmed evasion is attempted at disadvantage. Successful attacks deal 1 point of damage.
  • 1: Serpent Body - Unarmed evasion is a normal test.
  • 2: Lion Spirit - Critical success is 11 or above for you.
  • 3: Iron Shirt - When successfully attacked, you receive 1 point of damage reduction.
  • 4: Lightning Strike - Successful unarmed attacks deal 2 points of damage.
  • 5: Swimming Dragon - Unarmed evasion is attempted with advantage.
  • 6: Diamond Body - When successfully attacked, you receive 2 points of damage reduction.
  • 7: Secret Flame - For every 6 hours spent in profound meditation, you can recover 1 HP, up to 3 HP per day (sleep notwithstanding).
